PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE

Receptions and Dinner Parties:

In addition to playing weddings I play for receptions and dinner parties. Depending
on the particular client’s needs, I can be both center music as well as background
music. I have experience as a strolling violinist (memorizing the music and playing
while walking in between the dinner tables). I also have played dinner parties
where I was to perform musical selections in between toasts and announcements.
While in some instances I am center music, I can play background music as well.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Private Violin Lessons:
I have taught private violin lessons for over ten years now. I teach mainly the
Suzuki method (especially to small children), however, I am also experienced
in teaching more contemporary methods. I teach both children and adults and
currently I am taking teaching points lessons from Donald Becker at the Suzuki
Institute of Music in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. Mr. Becker has studied with
Suzuki himself and I am now learning more detailed methods of working with very
young students (typically age four).
